How do groups work?

Create a group for a trip, shared home or dinner. Enter participants' names — you are included automatically. A group can have up to 30 people.

For each expense, choose who paid, which participants to split it between and which category to assign your share to. The allocated amount is shown as you enter details, and you can save once the entire expense has been correctly allocated.

You manage the group in your own app. You can share a summary with others; there is no collaborative editing between phones.

Why do I need to repay this much?

The group's “Why this amount?” view shows total expenses, the number of participants, how much you paid, your share, repayments received and made, and the balance.

For example, you paid €90 for three people and split it equally. €30 is recorded in your expenses, and the group calculates how much the others need to repay you.

Debts and reminders

Record “Owed to me” or “I owe”: the person, amount, debt date, repayment deadline and notes. You can enable a notification when repayment is due.

Filter active debts by direction or view completed settlements. The card shows the original amount, amount repaid and remaining balance. Loans and repayments are tracked separately from ordinary income and expenses.

Example

Can I record a partial debt repayment?

Record a full or partial debt repayment with a date. In a group, select “Received” or “Repaid” and enter the amount already paid.

See your own and other group members' settlements and payment history. You can delete an incorrect repayment entry — the balance will be recalculated.

Group settlements do not create additional income entries. Your share remains in your personal expenses.
